Almost tomorrow, but I am (finally) done for the day.

I loved today’s prompt — about writing something I don’t know — I sort of used it (and may use it more completely tomorrow). Looking at the suggestions within the prompt, I thought of using something from last weekend’s comic con. So, I centered my story around one of my characters leading a workshop on puppet making (not something I know a great deal about, although I have done a fair amount of costume design).

Happily, the story went in a completely different direction than I first expected. The character I was focusing on ended up meeting up with another character from the novel, very unexpectedly, but I think it will be very helpful in the context of the novel. Their past meeting, however fleeting, will serve as a bit of a red herring (or more, who knows!).
